Castle Rock Downtown Development Authority Technology Accessibility Statement
The Castle Rock Downtown Development Authority is committed to providing equitable access to our services to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. The Authority is actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.
The Authority's ongoing accessibility effort works towards being in line with the (1) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level AA criteria and (2) 8 CCR 1501-11, Final Rules Establishing Technology Accessibility Standards. These rules and guidelines not only help make web content more accessible for people with sensory, cognitive and mobility disabilities, but conformance with these rules and guidelines will help make the web more user friendly for all people.
The Authority's efforts are just part of a meaningful change in making all State of Colorado services inclusive and accessible. While the Authority strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the Authority's website.
